Does anybody believe in the zeitgeist movement?

I have yet to watch the film. My boyfriend and my dad (my bf got him to watch it) are both huge believers in this. I haven't yet watched it but I will soon. I'll get my bf to reply to this later when he gets back from work. All I ever hear about is this film ----------------------------------------… hey jenny b's b/f here. A lot of people believe in this movement. there is a certain day in march where every1 involved gets together every year. the film is only there to make you think about the broader side of things. these people want you to realise that ur life doesnt have to revolve around religion or money. that we would be better off without governments that spend billions on war, instead of science, technology and bettering the human race. Dr Michio kaku is a theorectical physicist, professor, best selling author and popularizer of science. if u ''youtube'' his name you will come across a video in which he describes where we are as a civilization. there are 3 types of civilizations.we are a type 0 civilizaton,we're not even on the radar in the bigger scheme of things. But we are close to becoming a type 1. maybe within the next 100 years. we are already showing signs of a type 1 civilisation aka 'the internet'. The internet is a type1 telephone service. The thing is, and this is coming from a man at the top of the field in his line of work, if we dont reach type 1 civilization we will end up destroying ourselves. Governments forcing us into oil wars costing billions of dollars and countless lives is not the way forward. zeitgeist is just letting us know that it doesnt have to be this way, that we can instead put our efforts into bettering this world.
