If the Chargers find a way to make the playoffs, is Phillip Rivers the MVP of the NFL?

Seriously Rivers is amazing. No Floyd, Nenee, or Gates today and he goes on the road and has a great game against a decent Texans team. If the Chargers continue to win, and Rivers continues to play the way he has all year, is it pretty obvious he's the MVP?
