What's the time difference between USA & United Kingdom???

I wanna know what's the time difference between USA & United Kingdom. Cause I wanna call somebody in United Kingdom around 11:30 pacific coast time over here in California. Or do they have the same time. They are both in the Western Hemisphere. So yah if you could answer please let me know.
