imma say that the spotting that occured was your actual may period just being really early because usually you dont spot for 2 days and when i got pregnant with my first kid i didnt spot at all also if ur two weeks late and still no period and a negative hpt then i would say that it was spotting but a early period let me know how it went and good luck im also trynna get preg been trynna 6 months :( and with my first kid it only took 1 month gd luck
